As a kid growing up I never thought once about the shoes that I wore on my feet - all that mattered was that they were stylish! The older I get & the more I educated become, the more I realize the significance of wearing a shoe that allows my feet to do what they were designed to do. Feet were meant to move freely, to feel the earth below & to provide sensory feedback to your brain. Your feet were also designed to be strong & stable as well. Unfortunately, these are all things traditional shoes have stripped from us.
When I discovered Vivobarefoot I was excited to see how my feet would transform. I’ve been wearing the Primus Lite III for over a year now - I walk, run, jump, & train in these shoes! Here are the top reasons why I love my Vivo’s.

As a dancer, coordination is so important and the reduction of injures would help immensely. Brad has shown some amazing content with agility and athletic performance in the Vivobarefoot shoe which shows the importance of wearing shoes that improve overall performance and health.
Very informative post Brad. I’ve been following you for awhile as I always wanted to improve my performance and speed. You give amazing tips on increasing athletic performance. I do love doing plyometric work with more minimalistic shoes. I haven’t tried the Vivo Barefoot shoes YET, but would love to give them a go. I love the fact that the shoes use sustainable materials too! Such a plus!
These look like the perfect way to train barefoot when your gym won’t let you go barefoot. I would love to try a pair for personal training sessions, so I can also show the benefits to my clients up close.
Been seeing these shoes all over my IG timeline lately. From top athletes like you to some amateur athletes, raving about the performance of these sneakers. I’ve suffered from chronic ankle and knee pain, however, thanks to rehab/recovery workouts I’ve been seeing a ton of improvements. I know these shoes will take me to my Next fitness stage and unlock another level of my athletic capacity. Thanks for the info and hopefully I can win a pair of these asap.
My husband has flat feet and so much pain in his heels and back. I have been researching functional ways to help him and I am so glad to read this article. I definitely want to try to get him some of these shoes.
Two months ago I had a knee injury. The situation was seriously bad. My doctor advised me to use such shoes and increase my mobility. I hope one day I will get one.
Hey Brad! Fantastic blog post on Vivobarefoot! Wearing Vivobarefoot for grounding and making feet to brain connection is one reason to love them! I am recently working on this for myself in different movements. I follow you and often send your content to my 16 year old because I find it to be informative and very much in line with his goal and targets.

As a stability/mobility specialist and strength and conditioning coach foot stability is so important to me. I have plantar fasciitis and deformed feet due to years of ballet training. I love your post about the importance of feet not just in general but also for athletic performance. I’ve always wanted a pair of Vivos for powerlifting and plyometric training and to wear at work being on my feet in the gym all day!
As a mobility/stability specialist and strength and conditioning coach foot stability is so important to me I love Vivo Barefoots and I’ve always wanted a pair!! I love your posts!!!

I’m 26 and most of my life I wore athletic shoes. I didn’t care about Jordans or Air forces. I’ve always worn running shoes that had good ankle support and would be comfortable to wear all day. I play college and I do personal training on the side. I’ve been watching your videos for 3 years now and I also followed Ben Patrick so I saw when you started wearing the barefoot shoe. I was instantly curious because my feet always hurt after basketball practice and they always hurt after walking around in a shoe that is meant more for fashion. I want to restore strength to my foot and share this shoe with my clients!
I am a person trainer and in the gym daily as well as a cross country coach. My training is imperative for me to do both jobs. Vivobarefoot shoes will overall improve my performance training in the gym and correlate nicely when I’m out running with my team! With having flat feet like I do it’s hard to get shoes that fit right and will help me with the demands I have on a daily basis. Having Vivobarefoot shoes can help me built up my foot strength which then will help me perform at my absolute highest!
Vivobarefoot shoes are something that me personally would benefit from. I am an avid runner and personal trainer and train daily in the gym. Having flat wider shoes would better help my overall foot strength as well as improve my overall performance in the gym and running!
Great post about Vivo Barefoot, they’re such a great company – I’m a fan of barefoot shoes (for about 6 years or so) once you start wearing them it’s hard to put other shoes on!
Hey! Great post! Love your content!
I would wear vivobarefoot because I love to move. Im a physiotherapy student in Poland and training in comfy barefoot shoes is really important to me.
Im very interested in healthy and free feet, because in future I would like to help others to understand how our feet are important in functional living.
Hey brother,
I’ve been following your social platforms and work for a long time. Love so many of your workouts and have integrated a lot of them into my routine.
I’ve been looking into vivo a lot recently and spoken to a few strangers around my area or at the gym I’ve seen wearing them. Great to see someone I look up to in the fitness world like yourself supporting and using them too.
Thanks for the opportunity. Hope you’re well!
Best, Sam

Many years in basketball shoes, dress shoes, cowboy boots add on tight restricted socks? It’s made a mess out of my feet. Over a year ago I started working on foot health, and strengthening! I hope to get a pair of vivos one day!!
I’ve tried feiyues and wear them regularly now a days, I’ve tried another cheaper brand from Amazon but they were the worst looking things! From your post I could not be more stoked to get some!
